To keep recognition meaningful and manageable as milestones grow, heart records are retained as follows:
- Every 1M milestone is kept short-term
- Every 10M milestone is kept long-term
- Every 100M milestone is kept permanently
For 100M milestones, recognition may include:
- The supporter(s) present at the moment the milestone was reached
- Up to three additional supporters who contributed most significantly across the milestones leading up to that 100M mark
This structure allows recognition to scale fairly over time while preserving the most impactful moments in the archive.
Records may be refined as data improves and milestones evolve.
